W. Brian Fulton
Brian has served as the County Administrator for Jackson County, Mississippi since 2012. He earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University, and worked as an engineering consultant for 16 years prior to government service. Brian holds a Professional Engineering License in Mississippi and Alabama, as well as a national certificate as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.
Brian is currently a board member for the Trent Lott International Airport, the Young Men’s Christian Association, and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. Between 2012 and 2020, Brian served on the Gulf Regional Planning Commission, the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Mississippi Gulf Coast, during which he held the position of Chairman for 3 years.
Brian is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, where he has been recognized with several awards for excellence. In 2020, he was also honored to be a recipient of the One Coast Community Leader Award as recognized by the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.
